Working with a counseling intern at The Wren Within means your care is supported by more than one clinician.
Our interns are carefully selected, deeply engaged in their training, and closely supervised by a doctoral-level licensed psychologist.
This means your therapy benefits from both the fresh perspective of a dedicated trainee and the depth of an experienced clinician guiding the work behind the scenes.
Many licensed therapists practice independently without ongoing supervision. In contrast, our intern model ensures regular clinical oversight from a seasoned doctoral-level psychologist - something clients don’t typically get in standard outpatient care.
